My Story
My name is Shanae Skillern and I am a wife, mother, pediatric nurse, and author (I can't believe I can add on that last one). I wrote this children's book with the hope and aspiration to turn something that was difficult for our family, and so many others, and make it into something positive! Our son Noah developed plagiocephaly, brachycephaly, and torticollis as an infant and had to wear an orthotic helmet for corrective treatment. My goal is to get this book into the hands of every family possible to bring awareness to this subject, but also to highlight the importance of helmets overall. Thank you for coming to my page!
